The Academic Senate Foundation is proud to offer scholarships for faculty to attend the 3rd Annual Nandi Conference on October 9-10, 2025 at Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego!
The Nandi Conference provides a platform for all California Community College System professionals and students to engage in critical discussions on advancing equity and inclusion. You can expect inspiring speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities to help foster a more supportive and thriving educational environment for Black women, and all community college professionals and students.
Please note the scholarship is received in the form of a reimbursement from the ASFCCC. Reimbursement will be provided to winners post-conference to account for any potential changes. Receipts must be submitted with the reimbursement. Scholarship recipients will be notified two weeks after the deadline. The ASCCC aims to intentionally support the increase of development opportunities for diverse faculty, as called for in the ASCCC Strategic Plan 2018-2023 Goal 2 Objective 2.1. In order to design and lead professional development opportunities for diverse faculty, it is essential to begin gathering data to identify and meet the needs of the diverse faculty in our community college system.
