The Academic Senate Foundation is proud to offer scholarships for faculty to attend the ASCCC Spring Plenary Session on April 9-11, 2026. This will be a fully in-person event. Only the Saturday elections and resolution voting session will be offered in a hybrid format. Spring Plenary Session will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country 170 Railroad St, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
With a focus on student success, any faculty, (including full- and part-time faculty) from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Theme: Transformational Love & Joy; Centering Equity, Purpose, and Courage in Academic Leadership
A total of 4 scholarships will be offered, one per Area. The scholarship will cover the following: – The cost of registration ($695) – 2 nights of lodging ($418) – Travel up to $300
The ASCCC will cover the cost of registration and place you on the rooming block if selected. The $300 of travel reimbursement will be provided AFTER the event. To receive reimbursement, recipients must submit valid receipts. If you are a selected winner of the scholarship, you will be notified by us at foundation@asccc.org
Scholarship recipients will be asked to write about their experience and/or may be invited to share their experiences via testimonials in newsletters, presenting about their experience at ASCCC events, etc.

In order to design and lead professional development opportunities for diverse faculty, it is essential to gather data to identify and meet the needs of the diverse faculty in our California community college system. The deadline to submit is March 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM PST. Selected faculty will be notified via email two weeks after the submission date.
